GIS Specialist / Geoinformatics (m/f/d) - Remote

Renergo Projekte GmbH is a start-up in the renewable energy sector, focusing on the development of solar parks and battery power plants. In Short

• Identify suitable areas for solar parks and battery storage using our GIS system (QGIS).
• Develop processes for automating area identification and evaluation alongside the GIS team.
• Maintain and expand our GIS infrastructure (WebGIS, PostgreSQL, CRM interface).
• Expand our GIS system to additional federal states, researching applicable legal frameworks.
• Stay updated on legislation (EEG) for solar parks and battery storage, adjusting the GIS system accordingly.
• Take responsibility for the infrastructure, accuracy, completeness, and availability of geodata.
• Coordinate area security campaigns with the GIS and acquisition teams.

Requirements

• Completed studies in Renewable Energy, Geography, Geoinformatics, or a comparable field.
• Experience in renewable energies is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and QGIS.
• Knowledge of Python or other programming languages is a plus.
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken, with good English skills preferred.
• Team-oriented and committed.
