Internship in GIS / Geoinformatics (m/f/d) - Starting September - Remote

Overview

Renergo Projekte GmbH is a start-up in the field of renewable energies, developing large solar parks with a capacity of 10-30 MW. Our goal is to drive the energy transition and create sustainable value for all stakeholders. The founders have successfully implemented numerous solar and wind projects nationally and internationally before founding Renergo in 2021. A key component is the establishment and operation of our GIS system, the underlying geodatabases, and analysis scripts. We are currently offering an internship position in GIS for the project development of solar parks.

In Short

• Support in analyzing and visualizing geodata for planning and implementation of solar parks.
• Collaboration in the development and maintenance of GIS databases to optimize site decisions.
• Creation of maps and reports to present project results for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conducting terrain analyses and assessments to identify potential project sites.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to integrate geoinformatic insights into project development.

Requirements

• Ongoing studies in Geoinformatics, Geography, or a comparable field.
• Experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Basic knowledge in the field of renewable energies is an advantage.
• Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Team player with an independent working style.
