Payroll Operations Lead - LATAM - Remote

You will play a key role in elevating processes, driving standardization, and improving how payroll is delivered across Central America.

In Short

• Act as the subject matter expert for assigned Central America countries.
• Process end-to-end in-house payroll.
• Manage statutory filings, tax obligations, and social security requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely delivery aligned with KPIs.
• Handle payroll accounting and reconciliations.
• Partner with internal stakeholders for smooth operations.
• Identify process gaps and drive improvements.
• Support and mentor other payroll specialists.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience with in-house payroll operations is a plus.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in LATAM payroll.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll processes independently.
• Strong understanding of compliance and local labor regulations.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Finance or Product teams.
• Knowledge of payroll processes across Central America.
• Familiarity with payroll systems and tools.
• Remote work experience is a plus.
