Reliable Software is seeking a PHP Developer who will contribute to various IT projects using their expertise in PHP and related technologies.

In Short

  • Position: PHP Developer
  • Location: Remote (Bridgewater, NJ)

  • Full-time position
  • Expert level Object Oriented PHP development experience required
  • Experience with SQL and database schema design
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a remote team
  • Familiarity with web standards and modern web technologies
  • Experience with source code version control systems

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, Oracle / ANSI SQL Syntax preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
  • Understanding of AJAX and its appropriate usage
  • Familiar with JavaScript, CSS, and XHTML
  • Experience with large JavaScript frameworks (e.g., JQuery, ExtJS)
  • Expert understanding of MVC concepts in PHP
  • Experience with Kohana MVC framework preferred
  • Pluses include Perl and Unix Shell Scripting
