In Short

• Lead the Ads Infrastructure Excellence team.
• Design and implement scalable systems for Reddit Ads.
• Drive engineering velocity and optimize cost of revenue tracking.
• Collaborate with software engineers to enhance the Ads infrastructure.
• Identify and address gaps in Ads infrastructure.
• Model a culture of technical curiosity and ownership.
• Mentor team members to improve their skills.
• Work cross-functionally with Ads engineering and product teams.
• Lead large-scale initiatives for infrastructure re-architecture.
• Focus on user experience and quality in system design.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in high-performance infrastructure.
• Experience with distributed systems at web scale.
• Strong design experience with cloud infrastructure systems.
• Proficiency in Go, Kubernetes, Argo, and Flux.
• Knowledge of systems observability and operational best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and high empathy.
• Ability to lead strategic investments in Ads infrastructure.
• Experience in driving cost efficiency in infrastructure.
• Prior experience in the Ads domain is a plus.
