Staff Corporate Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Corporate Accounting team is looking for a Staff Corporate Accountant to join our growing team. You’ll have the unique opportunity to build processes, collaborate cross functionally, and play a key role in the team’s ability to scale.

In Short

• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly close deliverables
• Prepare monthly flux analysis for management review
• Prepare audit support for external and internal audits
• Own accounting and process documentation for areas including cash, fixed assets, prepaids, and month-end accruals
• Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures & implementing internal control procedures (SOX)
• Establish effective relationships and work cross-functionally
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies
• Assist in accounting-related system implementations
• Participate in special projects, analysis, and reporting as required by management

Requirements

• 1+ years of accounting or audit experience required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• CPA (or on track to be certified) strongly preferred
• Basic knowledge of GAAP and SOX required
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, problem solving, and prioritization skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work under time pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Team player with a positive attitude and open mindset
• Experience with NetSuite, Chrome River, Zip, and Coupa a plus
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and Google Workspace required
