Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst on Insikt Group’s Strategic and Persistent Threats (SPT) team, you will lead efforts to track state-sponsored APT campaigns, mentor peers in intrusion analysis, represent Insikt Group’s expertise externally, and support Recorded Future’s Analyst-on-Demand service.

• Conduct proactive research on state-sponsored APT activity.
• Establish and refine methods to track APT campaigns.
• Hunt for threat actor infrastructure across diverse data sources.
• Identify and deploy detection mechanisms for threats.
• Evaluate and improve threat intelligence workflows.
• Stay up to date on evolving APT tradecraft.
• Mentor colleagues on intrusion analysis.
• Collaborate with geopolitical and regional analysis teams.
• Propose new data sources and analytical methods.
• Represent Insikt Group externally as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Security and/or Threat Intelligence.
• Experience conducting technical threat analysis.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols.
• Experience with malware analysis.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python preferred).
• Experience applying analytical techniques to assess threats.
• Familiarity with threat modeling frameworks.
• Strong communication skills.
• Teamwork skills with globally distributed teams.
