Maintenance Technician II - Mech & Robotics Tech - Remote

Overview

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building, while also mentoring junior technicians.

In Short

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all Operations facilities.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
• 1 year of experience in PC competency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Opportunity to mentor junior technicians.
• Work in various conditions including small spaces and varying temperatures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Associates or higher degree in Mechanical or Electrical field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 2+ years of experience in repair of material handling equipment.
• 1+ years of metal and wood fabrication experience.
• 1+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
• Experience with MHE safety standards.
• Project Management experience.
• Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
