Maintenance Technician II - Mech & Robotics Tech - Remote

Overview

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians.

In Short

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all the Operations facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
• 1 year of experience in PC competency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Mentor junior technicians.
• Install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas.
• Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college in Mechanical or Electrical field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
• 1+ years of metal and wood fabrication experience.
• 1+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards.
• Project Management experience.
• Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions.
