Environmental Support Technician - Remote

Overview

The Environmental Support Technician plays a critical role in maintaining sanitary conditions in controlled areas for the manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and procedures.

In Short

• Responsible for routine and non-routine sanitization in GMP areas.
• Ensure accurate and neat documentation of sanitization processes.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality teams.
• Participate in training for sanitization practices.
• Follow all SOPs and comply with cGMP regulations.
• Maintain inventory of sanitization supplies.
• Perform cleaning activities using specialized equipment.
• Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Engage in cycle counting of supplies.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness in ISO classified environments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand documentation in English.
• Familiarity with computer hardware and software.
• Excellent attendance and ability to follow detailed work instructions.
• Prior experience in a biopharmaceutical GMP environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation practices.
