Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Accounting Manager for Title Services will play a pivotal role in overseeing all accounting functions related to title servicing activities. This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate financial records, and implementing efficient accounting processes within the title services division.

In Short

• Prepare and analyze financial statements for title servicing operations.
• Lead the month-end closing process including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Act as a liaison between Finance and title servicing departments.
• Produce month-end reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with management on annual budgets and forecasts.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Oversee treasury activities for optimal cash management.
• Implement accounting systems for process improvements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes.
• Support special projects as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2 years of management experience.
• Outstanding analytical and communication skills.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Technology skills: Microsoft Excel required.
• Highly organized and flexible.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Ability to multitask.
