Escrow Officer - DMV (Remote)

Overview

We’re looking for an Escrow Officer to join our Title Services team. In this role, you’ll oversee escrow transactions from opening to closing, ensuring compliance with state regulations while delivering a seamless closing experience for all parties involved.

In Short

• Manage escrow transactions from opening to closing.
• Communicate effectively with buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents.
• Review and analyze title reports, surveys, and legal documents.
• Coordinate with title examiners, attorneys, and insurance companies.
• Prepare closing documents accurately and on time.
• Conduct closings in compliance with regulations.
• Oversee disbursement of funds and recording of documents.
• Maintain accurate records for each transaction.
• Stay informed of industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and escrow management systems.
• Knowledge of real estate laws specific to the DMV region.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in escrow or title services.
• Active Escrow Officer license required in DC, Maryland, or Virginia.
• Notary preferred.
