Overview

The Paralegal (Privacy and Compliance) will be part of a dynamic Legal team, providing essential legal and compliance support for our growing operations in the USA. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the Foundation's legal integrity and compliance within the broader US regulatory landscape.

In Short

• Assist with US school district vendor assessment questionnaires.
• Support the evaluation and implementation of Data Privacy Agreements (DPAs).
• Draft and review US commercial contracts and agreements.
• Conduct US legal research on student data privacy laws.
• Ensure compliance with US non-profit registration and reporting requirements.
• Manage DPIAs for the Foundation’s US operations.
• Provide general administrative support to the legal team.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Utilize legal/compliance platforms.
• Collaborate with the legal team on various projects.

Requirements

• Experience working in a legal setting.
• Understanding of US student data privacy requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience using legal/compliance platforms.
