Overview

As a Kubernetes Engineer (Weeknight Shift), you’ll be the critical backbone keeping Air Force Platform One and Air Mobility Command systems online, secure, and resilient while the world sleeps.

In Short

Support continuous uptime for critical national systems
Engineer and manage multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters
Use Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps for end-to-end automation
Apply security-first principles and DoD compliance standards
Perform proactive monitoring and rapid incident response
Collaborate with elite engineers across time zones

Requirements

Proven expertise in Kubernetes, Istio, and Helm
Experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP
Proficiency with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and container security
Strong Linux and networking background
CKA certification preferred
