In Short

• Set up and operate various machines including Prima Power and CNC shear.
• Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot any issues.
• Process work orders through SAP system.
• Participate in LEAN/Six Sigma training for process improvements.
• Order and stock raw materials for the sheet metal department.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
• Train and assist other employees as needed.
• Flexibility to adapt to different roles and responsibilities.
• Ensure tasks meet quality standards and follow safety regulations.
• Participate in Behavioural Based Safety Training.

Requirements

• 2 years of related experience as a Machine Operator.
• High School Education/GED required.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and written instructions.
• Experience with manual and power tools.
• Must be able to lift 35lbs.
• Strong computer skills for business system software.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Must adhere to safety and attendance policies.
• Must demonstrate ethics and integrity in the workplace.
