Senior Developer with a Focus on Identity & Access Management - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Developer focusing on Identity & Access Management (IAM), you will build and enhance IAM systems, working in agile teams to deliver scalable solutions while maintaining a strong work-life balance.

In Short

• Develop and implement IAM solutions, particularly with Keycloak.
• Integrate Keycloak into existing systems and ensure smooth application connections via SSO, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, or SAML.
• Advise clients on group, role, and rights concepts, and suitable authentication flows.
• Collaborate with the team to develop necessary connectors, plugins, and web frontends for tailored IAM systems.
• Stay updated on IAM and IT security developments and provide innovative ideas to the team.
• Participate in other software development projects as a developer.
• Take a leading role in the team, resolving technical questions and ensuring smooth operations.
• Proactively propose solutions for technical and organizational improvements to clients.
• Establish necessary communication channels for new projects and take responsibility for their setup.
• Manage project parameters and create proposals during the presales phase.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IAM/Keycloak role.
• Deep practical experience in software development.
• Strong IAM knowledge, including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and authentication flows.
• Good understanding of IT security and risk assessment in IAM.
• Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to motivate and mentor team members.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Willingness to learn about new industries and clients.
• Fluency in German and English at C1 level.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
