Overview

The A/R Management Specialist I at Quick Med Claims will support all aspects of insurance and patient billing to ensure prompt and correct payment to clients/providers.

In Short

  • 100% work from home position.
  • Make calls to patients, hospitals, and insurers for claims research.
  • Contact insurance carriers about past due accounts.
  • Document account activities in the claims processing system.
  • Follow up on self-pay accounts and establish payment plans.
  • Maintain workflow to minimize aging accounts.
  • Ensure accounts reaching collections are fully worked.
  • Adhere to HIPAA privacy policies.
  • Perform tasks according to company standards and guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of claims, billing, and collection experience.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Preferred experience in collections or medical billing.
  • Basic understanding of insurance & claims processing.
  • Typing speed of 35 WPM preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
