In Short

  • Lead and mentor a data and business analytics team, driving their growth and accountability.
  • Develop and implement analytics strategies, managing data assets, solutions, and products to support organizational goals.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain data pipelines and transformation processes using tools like Mage or Apache Airflow.
  • Conduct data analysis, build statistical models, and provide actionable insights for decision-making and product development.
  • Collaborate with teams to define KPIs, create dashboards, and ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, promoting innovation and experimentation, including A/B testing and predictive analytics.
  • Ensure data governance, accuracy, and security while optimizing infrastructure for efficient analysis.
  • Effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in analytics or a related field, with management experience.
  • Hands-on experience with data pipelines using, e.g., Mage or Apache Airflow.
  • Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proficiency in Python and R for statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of modern data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (e.g., GCP, BigQuery, Firebase).
  • Strong business acumen, innovation mindset, and ability to promote a data-driven culture.
  • High organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
