Overview

QSIC is looking for a Platform Engineer to manage our distributed fleet of media players and smart speakers across North and Central America, collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams.

In Short

Work with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams.
Manage a fleet of RaspberryPi-based media players.
Investigate network issues with customer’s Network Engineers.
Build tools in Bash and Golang for fleet management.
Refine observability pipelines for monitoring.
Support Operations team with technical troubleshooting.
Collaborate on technical issues on customer networks.
Contribute to the design of fleet management tools.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Seek opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements

Experience in Software Engineering, Network Engineering, DevOps, or System Administration.
Technical fluency in Linux fundamentals.
Understanding of TCP/IP Networking fundamentals.
Proficiency in Bash scripting.
Knowledge of Golang and/or Python.
Experience managing CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with AWS services.
Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Full, unrestricted work rights for the United States.
