Overview

As a Remote Platform Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain the foundational systems and services that empower development teams to deploy, scale, and manage applications efficiently.

In Short

Design and implement scalable infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for cloud and hybrid environments.
Build and manage internal developer platforms and CI/CD systems.
Develop and maintain container orchestration platforms.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and monitoring.
Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve delivery velocity.
Monitor platform availability, performance, and security.
Enforce platform standards and ensure consistency across environments.
Contribute to incident response processes and postmortems.
Evaluate and integrate new technologies for platform improvements.
Document system architecture and best practices.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2 years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps roles.
Strong expertise with cloud platforms and infrastructure as code.
Deep understanding of Linux systems and containerization.
Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
Experience implementing monitoring and alerting systems.
