Overview

As a Telehealth Therapist specializing in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and mental health, you will play a pivotal role within our care team. Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary professionals, you will deliver a full spectrum of supportive services to patients, emphasizing harm reduction, sustained recovery, and continuity of care.

In Short

• Conduct telehealth counseling sessions for SUD and/or mental health disorders using PursueCare’s platform and EHR system.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, facilitating ongoing care through case conferencing and consultations.
• Administer or review validated assessments to inform treatment strategies effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, operations staff, partnering providers, and referral sources to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system, supporting billed CPT codes and treatment outcomes.
• Assess and intervene in crisis scenarios, advocating for patients and providing necessary resources and referrals.
• Conduct sessions from a professional, private, and distraction-free environment to uphold patient privacy and comfort.

Requirements

• Master’s level degree or above, with a current independent license to practice in Maine (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PhD, PsyD).
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing technology for telehealth counseling.
• Prior experience in substance use treatment preferred.
