Senior Security Engineer for Container Security & DevSecOps - Remote

Overview

We are currently seeking experienced professionals to support the project 'Service Layer Platform' (IT API) for a leading bank. This initiative aims to establish uniform guidelines, processes, and technologies for the development and operation of API services, ensuring consistent service quality and high release capability, allowing for faster and more efficient implementation of new services.

In Short

• Development, implementation, and operation of security measures in the development process.
• Creation and maintenance of security templates used in development pipelines (early detection and remediation of vulnerabilities).
• Close collaboration with various teams to ensure security and compliance requirements.
• Operation and further development of security platforms in the productive OpenShift environment (adherence to hardening guidelines and integration into vulnerability management).
• Deep experience with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages (Bash, Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with container orchestration (OpenShift/Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Understanding of modern software development processes (GitOps, DevSecOps).
• Further education/certification in IT security is a plus.

Requirements

• Experience with security and compliance requirements in the CI/CD context.
• Strong communication skills (in interaction with developers, architects, and stakeholders).
• Fluent German skills (documentation, training in German).
