Overview

ProSidian is seeking a Safety Software Quality Assurance Oversight and IT Consultant to support an engagement for the US Dept. of Energy (DOE) Hanford, focusing on safety and quality assurance in software processes.

In Short

• Full-Time position supporting the US Dept. of Energy.
• Provide oversight support for safety and non-safety software efforts.
• Assist in managing and overseeing projects in accordance with DOE Orders.
• Conduct reviews of contractor actions and effectiveness reviews.
• Review and comment on QAD procedures and oversight reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Must have relevant experience in Government and Public Sector.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Work location is in proximity to the Hanford site in Eastern Washington.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in engineering, science, or business management.
• Nine years of relevant experience in management consulting or senior management.
• Experience in Safety Quality Assurance requirements.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with Hanford or government agency procedures.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID or meet entry requirements.
• Ability to qualify for varying levels of background investigations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
• Ability to identify conflicts of interest.
