Overview

The Purchase Card Program Analysts are responsible for reviewing 100% of NIH's purchase card transactions on a regular basis, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial transactions.

In Short

  • Review NIH purchase card transactions for compliance.
  • Conduct data mining and analysis of transaction data.
  • Request documentation for transactions needing further review.
  • Prepare reports on instances of non-compliance.
  • Participate in compliance reviews and exit briefings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field.
  • 5 years of related procurement or finance experience.
  • 2 years of experience in purchase card management.
  • Strong analytical and compliance assessment skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with data mining and relational databases.
  • Knowledge of NIH OIT Certification and Accreditation standards.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new tools quickly.
