Join our compassionate Enteral team as a Patient Care Coordinator and play a pivotal role in providing exceptional support to patients requiring enteral nutrition services. In this vital position, you will be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, facilitating a smooth admissions process and ensuring that patient care starts on a positive and professional note. The successful candidate must become proficient in the use of our enterprise system to enable the accurate processing of new patient orders and re-orders for existing patients. In Short

• Onboard new patients by hospital discharge or company transition
• Processes inbound orders from our referral sources and requests for assistance from our patients
• Provide resupply orders to patients on service
• Receive and review patient records to ensure medical necessity is met for services ordered by physicians
• Perform insurance and benefit verification; obtain prior authorizations
• Work Monday to Friday with a hybrid schedule (2 days in office, 3 days remote)
• Flexible schedules from 8:30am-6:00pm EST
• Experience with insurance payers preferred
• Customer service experience in healthcare is strongly preferred
• Meaningful impact in patient lives

Requirements

• Experience with insurance payers preferred
• Experience with patient admissions in a similar referral source-based practice setting
• Customer service experience in a Home Medical Equipment company is strongly preferred
• Previous experience working with enteral therapy patients is highly desirable
