Information Security Manager - Remote

Overview

The Information Security Manager will support companies in making the digital business world safer by developing practical solutions for data protection, information security, and compliance.

In Short

• Consulting on ISMS: Build, implement, and develop information security management systems based on established standards.
• Security Analysis: Evaluate existing measures and processes, identify vulnerabilities, and derive optimization potentials.
• Gap Analysis & Project Management: Conduct maturity assessments and support until successful certification.
• Risk Management: Conduct risk analyses and develop technical and organizational security measures.
• Policies & Training: Create and enhance security policies and awareness concepts.
• Interface Work: Collaborate closely with data protection, product development, and other internal departments.

Requirements

• Education: Completed studies in IT, information security, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience: Several years of practical experience in building and managing ISMS, ideally in a consulting role.
• Standards Knowledge: Deep understanding of relevant standards like ISO/IEC 27001, NIS-2, and TISAX.
• Certifications: Desirable qualifications include ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer, CISM, or CISSP.
• Work Style & Communication: Analytical thinking, structured approach, and confident customer interaction.
• Language Skills: Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
