Crop Insurance Adjuster - Remote

Overview

ProAg is looking for an experienced Crop Adjuster to join our team in Illinois! This position conducts field inspections, reviews maps and aerial imagery, measures acres, inspects storage, and documents claim findings in accordance with federal crop insurance regulations and company procedures.

• Conduct field inspections to assess crop damage or loss.
• Collect, document, and enter accurate claim information.
• Determine cause and extent of loss in accordance with regulations.
• Communicate professionally with producers and agents.
• Manage assigned claim workload to meet quality standards.
• Apply adjusting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in required training and ongoing development.

• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Crop insurance experience or ag-related background.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer and internet applications knowledge.
• Communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Reliable means of transportation and willingness to travel.
• Completion of Claim Adjuster Proficiency Program preferred.
