Tax Associate - Remote

Overview

The Tax Associate at Privia Health will support daily operations of the Tax Department, including tax return preparation and compliance with internal accounting policies.

In Short

• Assist with corporate income tax provision process.
• Process partnership and related income tax returns.
• Support month-end close procedures for tax matters.
• Draft responses to IRS and state notices.
• Participate in tax registration events.
• Prepare various tax returns as needed.
• Conduct tax research and participate in strategic initiatives.
• Assist with audit requests and other projects.
• Drive continuous improvement in tax processes.
• Maintain accurate accounting files in compliance with GAAP.

Requirements

• 1+ years of public or corporate tax experience.
• CPA or CPA eligible preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or public accounting is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or large ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Compliance with HIPAA regulations.
