Accounts Receivable Manager - Remote

Overview

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all assigned claims, addressing correspondence from physician practices, and managing insurance claim denials.

In Short

• Management of accounts receivable and analysis of aged AR.
• Denial management and resolution of claim issues.
• Independent decision-making regarding claim adjustments and appeals.
• Collaboration with internal teams and care center staff.
• Support for large care center go-lives, including potential travel.
• Work with Revenue Optimization team for reimbursement alignment.
• Direct interaction with practice consultants and physicians.
• Achievement of department KPIs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Graduate.
• 3+ years experience in medical billing or claims.
• Understanding of revenue cycle performance drivers.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
• Experience with athenaHealth and/or athenaOne preferred.
• Compliance with HIPAA regulations.
