Overview

As a Senior Python Engineer at Primer, you will have the opportunity to make a wide impact on our tooling, coding standards, and codebase while working on data-driven product features with cross-functional teams.

• Develop new application features leveraging extensive ingest pipelines and model library.
• Collaborate on the Delta product to design an information retrieval architecture.
• Work with machine learning engineers and data scientists to extend platform capabilities.

• Expertise in Python and another Object-Oriented language required.
• Experience with Flask, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• 5+ years of experience in shipping production-grade software.
• Strong modeling and design patterns for extensibility and resiliency.
• Experience with real-time and distributed systems.
• Data-driven engineering experience is a plus.
