Senior Internal Controls Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Senior Internal Controls Analyst is responsible for assessing Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) within the Controllership function of Prime, playing a critical role in the advancement of the ICFR program.

In Short

• Assess internal control design and effectiveness.
• Conduct balance sheet mapping and risk assessments.
• Develop recommendations to mitigate residual risk.
• Create ICFR work programs for management review.
• Provide updates on controls assessments and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct training on key controls and improvement opportunities.
• Manage external financial statement audit liaison.
• Ensure process changes are assessed for control structures.
• Collaborate with functional area owners for improvements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related area.
• 5 years of relevant experience in ICFR or Internal Controls.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and GAAP.
• Exceptional critical thinking and collaboration skills.
• Organizational and project management skills.
• Experience with Big 4 accounting firms preferred.
• Previous experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (CIA, CPA, etc.) are advantageous.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Skilled in Microsoft applications.
