Overview

The Endpoint Systems Engineer is a critical member of the IT infrastructure team, responsible for the lifecycle management of all endpoint devices across the organization. This role bridges security, operations, and automation — ensuring that every managed device remains compliant, current, and performing at its best. The ideal candidate is hands-on with RMM tooling, comfortable writing PowerShell automation, and thrives in a fast-paced managed services or enterprise IT environment.

In Short

• Deploy, schedule, and validate OS and software patches across Windows/macOS endpoints.
• Manage patch policies and compliance baselines through Microsoft Intune.
• Generate patch compliance reports and present remediation plans.
• Package, deploy, and maintain third-party applications across endpoints.
• Triage and manage endpoint-related tickets in ConnectWise Manage.
• Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for task automation.
• Maintain accurate endpoint inventory and configuration records.
• Enforce endpoint security baselines and monitor for compliance.
• Collaborate with security teams on vulnerability management.

Requirements

• Experience with RMM tools like Kaseya VSA and Datto RMM.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of endpoint security practices and compliance.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune for application management.
• Ability to manage incident tickets effectively.
