Overview

The Senior Analyst, International Tax will play a key role in all aspects of international tax, including preparation of US international tax returns, local corporate and indirect tax filings, estimated payments, and tax provisions.

In Short

  • Prepare US international tax compliance, including foreign income and indirect tax filings.
  • Support design and preparation of calculations related to E&P, Subpart F income, and various US international forms.
  • Coordinate foreign compliance activities and incorporate foreign data into US international tax filings.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual US domestic ASC 740 tax provisions and foreign tax provisions.
  • Analyze financial reporting related to tax implications from global operations.
  • Stay updated on tax legislation and assess its impact on compliance and accounting.
  • Prepare intercompany agreement schedules and maintain transfer pricing documentation.
  • Participate in special projects and conduct research on international tax matters.
  • Ensure timely completion of filings in accordance with the tax calendar.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of income tax experience, preferably in international tax.
  • CPA preferred, but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of US Federal income tax, especially international tax.
  • Experience with tax compliance from a national accounting firm or large US multinational.
  • Familiarity with FAS 109/ASC 740 preferred.
  • Experience with tax software like Thomson Reuters OneSource, Oracle Fusion, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Tax, or Finance.
