Revenue Accounting Manager - Business Advisory - Remote

Overview

The Revenue Accounting Manager-Business Advisory will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the revenue recognition process, for revenue contracts, in compliance with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), ASC 606 and Precisely’s internal policies and controls.

• Manage and oversee the revenue recognition process for revenue contracts.
• Analyze and interpret complex contracts for appropriate revenue recognition treatments.
• Coordinate with Sales, Legal, and other departments to resolve revenue recognition issues.
• Collaborate with various teams to gather information for accurate revenue recognition.
• Review and validate revenue recognition entries in Precisely's financial system.
• Prepare and review revenue-related reports and presentations.
• Provide guidance on revenue recognition requirements and best practices.
• Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations.
• Lead or participate in special projects related to revenue recognition.
• Manage a team of revenue accountants and conduct performance reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue accounting.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, Netsuite ARM a plus.
• Strong analytical skills for reviewing revenue contracts.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with teams.
• Experience in identifying process improvement opportunities.
• Understanding of accounting regulations and compliance.
