The SRE / Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and supporting core infrastructure systems, focusing on Metal-as-a-Service (MAAS) and bare-metal automation within a fully remote environment.

In Short

Fully remote position in the EMEA timezone.
Expertise in MAAS and bare-metal automation is mandatory.
Strong Linux background, preferably with Debian/Ubuntu.
Experience managing large-scale infrastructures.
Skills in networking fundamentals, including VLANs and VPNs.
Automation of infrastructure provisioning using Ansible and scripting.
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
Comfort with virtualization and orchestration systems.
Dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

Expert-level Linux administration.
Strong MAAS / Ironic experience.
Excellent networking fundamentals.
Infrastructure as Code experience (Ansible).
Scripting skills in Bash/Python.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
Familiarity with custom deployment automation.
Proven experience with OpenStack and container orchestration.
Experience with firewall rules is a plus.
Exposure to IT asset management is beneficial.
