Group Financial Controller - Remote

Overview

The Group Financial Controller will oversee group accounting, reporting, consolidation, and controls across multiple legal entities in a fully remote role focused on AI integration within finance operations.

In Short

• Own monthly, quarterly and annual group close and consolidation.
• Deliver accurate management accounts, board and investor reporting.
• Ensure IFRS / local GAAP compliance across jurisdictions.
• Define and enforce group accounting policies and internal controls.
• Lead and optimize NetSuite ERP across the group.
• Drive automation and AI adoption in accounting processes.
• Manage audits, statutory compliance and intercompany processes.
• Partner closely with the CFO on strategic initiatives.
• Build a best-in-class, AI-native finance function.
• Work in a fully remote setup with limited travel.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years in accounting / financial control.
• Strong experience in multi-entity, international environments.
• Background in SaaS, cloud, infrastructure or deep-tech companies.
• Expertise in NetSuite ERP.
• Hands-on experience implementing AI tools in accounting workflows.
• Strong IFRS / GAAP knowledge and consolidation expertise.
• Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Comfortable building finance infrastructure from scratch.
