Sr. Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Network Engineer will work directly with the end client’s network and IT infrastructure team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network and security infrastructure.

In Short

• Design, implement, and manage network and security infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
• Maintain documentation of network architectures, designs, configurations, and processes.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Support the design and implementation of network segmentation for wired and wireless networks.
• Apply technical expertise to address business challenges.
• Understand the end client’s network and security infrastructure.
• Stay current with industry trends and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical support to junior network engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification.
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of network and security architecture and best practices.
• Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
