Team Overview 

The Enterprise Resource Planning team at PowerSchool is a tight-knit group of designers, product managers, and engineers building world-class software that helps school finance teams make the most of their funding to improve student outcomes. We’re a smart, friendly, and goofy team that cares about making software that looks good and feels good to use.

In Short

• Design the UI and hone the UX of PowerSchool's Allovue and talent software platforms.
• Focus on design tasks structured around quarterly product feature goals.
• Own and expand the design system.
• Create and iterate on product designs in Figma.
• Collaborate with the design team, product managers, and engineers.
• Shape product design around constraints.
• Review Pull Requests for design consistency.
• Proactively seek assistance and critique.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing web apps or software.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong UX and visual design understanding.
• Proficiency in working with remote colleagues across time zones.
• Experience using Figma.
