People Operations Manager - Remote

Overview

The People team at poolside is looking for someone to enhance and streamline people operations processes and tooling as the company grows. This role will focus on operational aspects for new joiners and the wider team, ensuring smooth onboarding, offboarding, and management of HR processes.

In Short

• Oversee cross-team operations for payroll, benefits, compliance, and compensation planning.
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate payroll management.
• Manage the People tech stack and vendor relationships.
• Establish and maintain policies and procedures aligned with best practices.
• Build new processes for operational efficiency.
• Provide advice on compliance with people policies.

Requirements

• Experience as a generalist in HR/People Ops with knowledge of payroll and benefits.
• Experience with US payroll is a plus.
• Experience introducing new tools and processes in People Ops.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Strong urge to automate processes.
