Design Engineer, Product - Remote

Overview

This role is for someone who wants to define what gets built, not just how it looks. You'll own product vision in 0-to-1 spaces, working at the frontier of what Poolside should build next, translating ambiguous problems into clear product direction, and prototyping fast to validate ideas before they become roadmap.

• Own product vision in 0-to-1 spaces.
• Lead design, experimentation, and proof-of-concepts.
• Partner with Product Engineering to move ideas from concept to product.
• Prototype rapidly and validate early.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure consistent product thinking.
• Shape how Poolside shows up externally as a product.

Requirements

• Strong product intuition with a history of defining what to build.
• Genuine history of building with code.
• Familiarity with developer workflows.
• Experience designing for developer tools.
• Strong visual craft and high-quality UI production.
• Comfortable with rapid prototyping and research.
• Highly autonomous in decision-making.
