Senior Rust Engineer - Remote

Overview

Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the AggLayer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the AggLayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. Polygon Labs has also contributed to the core development of several widely-adopted scaling protocols and tools for launching blockchains, including Polygon PoS, Polygon zkEVM, and Polygon Miden, which is in development as well as Polygon CDK.

In Short

• You’ll design, develop and maintain robust software at the intersection of Polygon CDK and AggLayer.
• Focus on creating elegant integrations between multiple blockchains.
• Work with Rust code to integrate smart contracts and other blockchains.
• Lead the charge in designing and building modular, efficient, and scalable solutions.
• Mentor team members in Rust programming.
• Take ownership of the code base and participate in code reviews.
• Push for high quality results in software development.

Requirements

• Deep love for Rust with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
• 7+ years of experience as a backend developer.
• Excellent software engineering skills with experience in complex architectures.
• Teaching skills to help the team level up their Rust skills.
