Overview

The Information Security Analyst at PointClickCare is responsible for planning and implementing security measures to protect networks, data centers, and cloud deployments, ensuring the organization’s security posture is continuously improved.

In Short

• Monitor and report security incidents from the SIEM platform.
• Assist with ongoing Vulnerability Management program.
• Tune alerting to reduce false positives.
• Support Security Incident Response processes.
• Manage security infrastructure installation and maintenance.
• Develop a proactive security presence across the organization.
• Lead security-related projects and initiatives.
• Conduct periodic security audits.
• Research new threats and assess their relevance.
• Work independently and collaboratively to enhance security measures.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or relevant experience.
• Experience with security software (SIEM, Vulnerability Scanning).
• Knowledge of information security best practices and tools.
• Working knowledge of IT environments and network protocols.
• Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office tools.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Security Analyst.
• Certifications such as Security+ are desired.
• AWS or Azure certifications are a plus.
• Understanding of security standards and privacy legislation.
