In Short

  • Administer COBRA benefits for eligible employees and their dependents.
  • Communicate with former employees regarding COBRA options.
  • Maintain accurate COBRA records and compliance documentation.
  • Handle COBRA inquiries from employees and dependents.
  • Work closely with HR and Benefits teams.
  • Prepare and distribute COBRA notices and election forms.
  • Assist with reconciliation of COBRA premiums.
  • Requires health insurance and COBRA experience.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with the ability to resolve issues.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in COBRA administration or benefits management preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of COBRA laws and regulations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration platforms preferred.
  • Knowledge of additional benefits regulations preferred.
