Senior Software Engineer (Python) - Remote

In Short

• Design and develop scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Python.
• Work in an Agile, test-driven (TDD/BDD), and CI/CD environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering to delivery.
• Optimize performance and automation using modern tools.
• Participate in pair programming and lead software delivery.
• Implement future-proof API contracts and reliable microservices.
• Communicate complex technical issues effectively.
• Proactively identify and communicate risks.
• Contribute to a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Agile development environment.
• Experience with Python and frameworks like Django or Flask.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Experience managing work in Jira and using Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
