In Short

• Design and implement core protocol components in Rust, focusing on performance, security, and reliability.
• Investigate, prototype, and optimize consensus improvements and distributed systems components.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance on best practices in cryptography, testing, and documentation.
• Identify and resolve scalability, latency, and reliability challenges in a decentralized environment.
• Contribute to open-source initiatives that strengthen the Plasma ecosystem.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in software engineering with a strong background in distributed systems or blockchain technology.
• Proficiency in Rust and systems programming fundamentals.
• Proven track record of delivering production-ready code for mission-critical applications.
• Hands-on experience with consensus mechanisms, cryptography, or related areas of protocol engineering.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, low-process environment.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical issues to diverse stakeholders.
