The Medical Office Specialist participates in a team approach to patient care, effectively communicating with patients and supporting their healthcare experience with compassion and excellent care.

In Short

• Greet and check in patients at the front desk.

• Enter data into the electronic health record system (EPIC).
• Prepare deposit slips and run end-of-day reports.

• Work remotely when possible, with occasional office visits.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year experience in a medical office setting.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience using an EHR system is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
