Senior Product Manager, Constellation Services - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Product Manager (PM) at Planet, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects using your industry expertise and product vision. You will own vision and plan requirements with internal stakeholders including: coordinating input, managing the product roadmap, identifying risks, and clearly communicating them to stakeholders, as well as lead projects through the entire product lifecycle.

In Short

• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Constellation Services product line.
• Gather and prioritize unique product requirements from customers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with program management and engineering teams.
• Drive the development and launch of new product features.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer-facing teams.
• Work with compliance and security teams to ensure adherence to laws and standards.
• Develop pricing models and packaging in coordination with finance.
• Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction.
• Create and maintain product documentation and training content.
• Stay informed of competitor capabilities and market trends.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Product Management experience.
• Excellent understanding of satellite ground systems and RF communications.
• Ability to understand the needs of government and commercial customers.
• Experience managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.
• Outstanding written and spoken communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
