IT Service Technician in Business Communication - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable IT Service Technician to strengthen our team in the field of telecommunications. As an IT Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems and devices at our clients' locations, providing technical support, diagnosing faults, and ensuring quick and efficient solutions.

In Short

• Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of telecommunications systems
• Field service technician for telecommunications/Unified Communication
• Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
• Development of customized solutions for telecommunications systems
• Risk assessment and problem-solving approach
• Conducting software and firmware updates
• Ensuring all projects are completed on time
• Documenting service interventions and maintenance work

Requirements

• Completed training or studies in IT, network technology, communication technology, or similar
• Alcatel Lucent Enterprise certificates desirable
• Experience in the installation and maintenance of telecommunications systems
• Good understanding of network technology, especially LAN, WAN, WLAN infrastructure (VLAN, QoS)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft/Linux server operating systems, SQL databases, Active Directory, DHCP, FTP/TFTP
• Ability to document and organize projects clearly and accessibly
• High sense of responsibility
• Class B driver's license and willingness to travel
• Very good German and English skills
