Staff UX Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Design Technologist / UX Engineer, you will drive initiatives that empower designers to build modern world-class user experiences for our Pinners and Advertisers with high productivity, performance, and quality.

In Short

• Contribute to strategic technical direction for design systems’ cross-platform libraries.
• Design solutions that address problems at both current and future scale.
• Work with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure a seamless connection between design and engineering.
• Help evolve the design system to meet user needs.
• Mentor team members and participate in design and code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience as a design technologist or UX engineer.
• Proven track record of delivering reliable technical solutions.
• Deep experience in frontend web technologies (HTML, CSS, React/TS).
• Experience developing or leading design system initiatives.
• Ability to break down challenges into smaller decisions.
• Track record of delivering cross-functional projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Basic awareness of accessibility principles.
