Overview

The FTTx Project Engineer at Phoenix Engineering Group is responsible for designing and monitoring fiber optics network projects, ensuring high-quality results and project timelines.

In Short

• Conduct and monitor design of FTTx fiber optics network.
• Complete network tasks according to project timelines.
• Produce low-level design civil and fiber drawings.
• Prepare “As Built” Documentation and BOMs.
• Review design engineering deliverables.
• Perform quality control of work and report project status.
• Prepare blueprints and maintain contact with authorities.
• Design technical plans for local authorities.
• Collect paperwork for permits and submit to authorities.
• Collaborate with finance on project budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Telecommunications.
• 2 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Excellent knowledge of QGIS/ArcGIS.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible problem-solving abilities.
